There is no such "Oxford College". There is the University of Oxford, which consists of a number of colleges. A person seeking admission will apply to a particular college of the University - not Oxford in general. Contact the admissions office for details. http://www.admissions.ox.ac.uk/
Since you haven't mentioned the university, so it seems that you are asking with-respect-to all universities. All good universities offer various popular courses like b.tech, bsc, ba.....etc. If you are seeking admission, then lookout for good universities such as LPU, VIT, BITS, PEC.....and so on. The details about them and admission process can be had from their website.
Students are cautioned that admission to the University does not imply admission to all the programs and courses offered by the individual colleges; this is especially true with respect to colleges with limited-access programs. Colleges such as Business, Education, and Nursing have been designated as limited-access colleges and require completion of certain prerequisites before a student may declare a major offered by one of the colleges. It is important that students check the college sections of the catalog for advising and admission requirements. Students planning to enter a limited-access program should be aware that their admission by the college may be denied or delayed and should be prepared with alternative plans of action. Students seeking admission to limited-access programs must demonstrate successful academic progress toward meeting the limited-access requirements in order to remain undeclared beyond 45 semester hours of credit.
act of admission
yes.
it benifits students when applying for scholarships and also when seeking college admission.
You must apply for a specific major at the college or university of choice and meet the entrance requirements fro that major. If you are already in college, see an academic adviser to matriculate.
It is possible especially for the major requirements of certain programs of study. However, it depends on the specific college or university and their registration policies.
Courses offered by different IITs vary. In order to get info. about courses, you need to go-through the website of that IIT where you are seeking admission. Apart from that, there are other better universities (which offer admission in various courses); like: Jamia Millia, BITS, NIT, Lovely Professional University; where you could also get quality education and placements
