You should only tell the friends you know you can trust not to tell the whole world unless you want the whole world to know.
Sorry, but if you tell anyone, you might as well tell everyone. People cannot keep their mouths shut. Are you strong enough to deal with it if they turn on you or will you fall apart? Every persons sitsuation is different and the people involved also. Your age may be a factor, are you still with your parents and what will their response be? As I said, it is an all or nothing deal. Tell one other person and the world will shortly know. I came out decades ago and nothing but good came from it. What will happen in your case you can only guess at. People can surprise you in both directions. Some will accept and some will turn away and it is not always the ones you think.
