I was looking at the picture in motorcraft.com and it is threaded , so it has to be
threaded somewhere into the upper intake manifold and has a wiring plug on
connection to it

The CMOS BIOS chip is located on the motherboard.
The speed sensor is programmed into the computer. I'm assuming you want to remove it, if so you can go to a preformance shop to get a new chip or possibly have yours reprogrammed.
The IAT intake air temperature sensor plug on a 93 Nissan is on the intake pipe. The EGR sensor is located on the intake manifold.
The "intake airflow temperature sensor" is actually the mass airflow sensor. It is located right behind the air filter box, it's the small piece of hard plastic tubing with the computer chip on top connected to the wires. To take it off, you disconnect the battery, unplug the computer chip, and unbolt it from the intake. If you want to clean it, buy some CRC Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) cleaner. Should cost about 6 bucks at pepboys. Then follow the directions on the can.
The easiest way to get around the Transponder Chip in your 99 Ford Ranger is to have a chip programmed and mount it under the steering column cowling close to the inductor coil on the ignition lock. That way you can use non Transponder keys to start the vehicle.
There is no chip it is controlled by the ECU.
