its located on the drivers side , between the master brake cylinder and the engine block. its a pain to get to. follow the a/c line down to it.
it should be checked or added with every oil change. You will need gear oil for a manual tranny. you will find the plug somewhere on the tranny.
Get a manual on your car from DISCOUNTAUTOREPAIRMANUALS.COM It will help on the next repair also.
There are a number of references to use to find boiler servicing. For example, Service Experts, Inferno Boiler, and Boiler all provide useful information about boiler servicing.
right under the battery and right on top of the tranny. just look real deep in there and you will find it.
This diagram should be in the users manual. If you cannot find your manual, it is a good idea to look online for an image.
In most cars this conversion can be done. Might be easier to buy one with manual though. You need to remove the automatic, install the clutch pedal (not easy and welding needed) then put the manual tranny in and link everything up. Changing or replacing the driveshaft will be needed if the length of the tranny is different or the spline count is different. Note that these short sentences make it sound easy but if you have to ask that question then you will find that it could be many hours work with a lot of frustration and problems. This is also a general answer and cannot address the possible issues that there may be with your car, Andrew
No offense here, but come on. You have a brand new 2008 Toyota Tacoma. This vehicle came with an owner's manual, which you will find in the glove box. Within the pages of that owner's manual is the answer to this question and any other question about servicing your Toyota. I suggest you open that manual and start reading. Surely you have not already lost this very important manual.
Do you mean a 4 Cylinder 148 B 2.4L SFI DOHC? Also, are you sure this vehicle has a manual tranny, as I can't find any info that says they were available, only an Auto-tranny? If you have an auto-tranny, then there is no kit for this at a normal auto-parts store.
It's possible that the catalytic converter is restricted. A good repair shop should be able to find out.
== == If it's automatic, it should be on the drivers side away the battery. If it's manual shift, there's a plug towards the back of the tranny under the car.
A lot more than the price of a '91 cavy (the whole car isn't worth $1000), if you could even find someone willing to do it (which i doubt). Manual to auto is slightly (not much, though) easier. Sell the car and find another one that has a factory manual tranny.
The directions on how to use it can be found in the instruction manual that came with the camera. If you cannot find your manual you can find it here at http://usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras
