I believe you have a relay that runs the high speed for the heater fan motor. The relay should be located in the power distribution box under the hood.
Electrical current can be changed using a variable resistor. A resistor can be selected to allow a certain current at a specific voltage. Ohms' Law.
Chack the speed control switch and the resistor that controls the speed of the motor
A rheostat is a variable resistor and these control the flow of current.
The job of the resistor is to control the amount of electricity that flows through the circuit.
It is a resistor or a group of resisters used to control the flow or current in a circuit. Like the resistor block in a car controls the speed of the a/c blower.
Volume Control Light Control Speed/Frequency Control Temperature Control
A: it does not control electricity but Rather varies the potential subjected to.
It's in the resistor block, which in the diagrams comes right after the fan control switch
resistor
Variable resistors means that a resistor which can change its resistance by control by any person or it self and fixed resistor means that it can not change its value.
I have changed resistor a d blower motor still not working, maybe i missed a fuse or could the control switch not work?
Exam paper question.
Same as any other kind of resistor, they're used to control voltages and currents in electric circuits.
thank you I found what I think is the resistor took the two screws out and found that a mouse or something had been squatting inside the housing and had ate away the clay around the coiled wires and finally broke one smh thanks again I was stumped lol
Monostable multi vibrator has got one stable state. Its pulse duration depends on the resistor and capacitor values used. By changing these values, the pulse duration can also be changed. Hence the circuit can be used for pulse control.
Have you checked the ignition control module? Have you checked the ignition control module?
There is a Blower Motor Resistor Pack. Either the blower motor speed control switch itself is defective or the Resistor Pack is bad.
The 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier resistor pack fan control switch is located on the back of the fan motor. The fan motor is located directly behind the fan.

It may only be the resistor pack or the resistor module depending upon your climate control type.
This depends on the circuit. A resistor may be connected in series with a capacitor and will control the rate at which the capacitor charges or discharges (known as an RC timing circuit); at a certain voltage (0.6 Volts) this may turn on part of another circuit through a transistor.
The resistor block or blower motor resistor is used to control the speed of the blower motor. That is how you get the lower speeds on your air conditioning or heater. The higher the resistance the lower the speed of the motor.
Possibilities: blower motor, resistor, wiring, control in dash

Im not sure if they changed it, but last time I checked you hold tab, than run on top of it, than click there you want it to go, but dont release tab
