Have your fuel pump checked. the pump is inside the fuel tank, and is cooled by the liquid gasoline in the tank. If you run the car on E most of the time, the pump will not be cooled properly, resulting in damage to the pump. Also, check your air flow sensor and your air filter. You can try tuning your car up as well. New plugs, wires, cap and rotor may make a difference. Good luck!
yes definitely my 96 Chevy was stalling every time i stopped at a light or stop sign and my brother changed my crank shaft sensor and it doesn't do it anymore.
It is in the bottom of the coolant surge Tank. That is beside the air filter box.
The coolant temperature sensor, on a 2005 Ford escape, can be changed by loosening the sensor retaining nut. Once the knot is removed the sensor will pull out.
a coolant temperature sensor:can cause hard starting, stalling, blacksmoke from tailpipe, hesatation, rough idle, surging, cold engine warm up problems, poor fuel economy, the sensor sends a signal to computer!! fuel mixture and ignition timing are also affected by coolant sensor.
check plugs and wires, and the fuel filter for proper installation. Fuel filters have a directional arrow on them, to indicate which way to install them. If it is in backwards, that can cause fuel starvation and stalling under load, such as when you are accelerating.
The Ford KA coolant sensor on the 1.6 is located on the right hand side of the engine, directly on top of the thermostat housing, just below the air filter housing.
Might be the sensor, each fan has its own relay
Could be many things, but first try the simple. Scan for codes. Possibilities could be: fuel filter sensor related etc
stop an engine
beetween the trhotle and air filter housing
on the side of the block not the one buy the oil filter
The crankshaft sensor on a Rover 200 is located below and to the right of the generator and cylinder head temperature sensor. It is on the driver's side of the engine and above the oil filter.
