The computer is located behind the glove compartment and is mounted on the firewall between the interior and the engine compartment. The pin connection is on the exterior near the engine for mounting the main cable connection.
You have to have a special cable which is "cross connection cable" or something like that.
Connect the CD drive as a slave(change jumper pin).
If a jump start will not start it then it is not the battery. You either have a short in the battery cable connection to the battery or the engine/starter or you have a bad starter. Test for a short in battery, battery Cables or connection. Trace where the positive battery cable connects to usually an electrical box on the inside of the engine compartment and put the positive jumper cable there while putting the negative jumper cable on a metal part of the engine (you are by-passing the battery and the battery cables completely). If it does not start now then you have a bad starter.

master if the ide cable has a single drive connection. if the ide cable has the master and slave connection. then set the drive to master with slave.
Connection from battery to starter is bad, starter is bad or engine is bad. It's usually not the engine. Start by clearing the connection. If you can get good access to the bendix on the starter, a quick test is to run a jumper cable (the ones you use to jump start the car are great for this) from the positive post on the battery to the battery bolt on the starter solenoid. Clamp it on, take the car out of gear and use a short jumper to connect the keyswitch lug on the solenoid to the side of the jumper cable clamp. Make this jumper by crimping a push-on connector to each end of a foot-long piece of 12-gauge stranded wire. If the car cranks good, just change the cable from the starter to the battery and you're done. If it doesn't work, pull the starter and have it tested.
restart the compuer or replug the cable or replug the USB cable

The Cable Connection lets you share files with other computers. Also a printer can be shared by using certain ports on the computer or by the use of a cable.
rj11 cable is usually used for a phone line so for computers this particular cable can be used to connect to a dial up connection or dsl connection
