Sounds like your losing spark. the tough part is that it needs to be tested when it is not starting to find where the failure is occurring. If I remember right, there are some imports that use an "igniter", similar to an ignition module that has tendencies of failing. My advice is to try to nail down how long it takes for this to happen, take it to a reputable independent repair shop, give them the symptom descriptions and let them test it. Post what ever you find when you do resolve it.

I had the same exact problem and indeed it is the ignition igniter. It is located inside the distributor. This minute part is stupid expensive from the dealer, and the repair shops will be licking there chops to charge you a hour of labor to "Find" (After you fully explain the symptoms to any professional mechanic he will already know what the problem is yet will state he will have to search it out. Lame) I paid the $70 "Find" fee, turned down the $390 repair estimate then drove my car to a parking lot across the street & parked it. I then went to the local junkyard and removed one for nothing. Two screws later problem solved. Hope this saves someone some $.
