Smile at her coolly. Don't stalk her or anything as well. If she smiles back it probably means she likes you as a friend, but don't give up yet! If she turns around and talks to her friend or blushes. You can tell. Sit next to her on the bus and talk to her, about anything. Don't forget to take it slowly.

no don't do that! if it looks obvious and your brave enough, go ahead. but if it doesn't look like she does then don't ask, "do you like me." Also, if you have feelings for a girl it will definitely show in your text message. It's better to get to know a girl in person though.
