The answer to your question is the same for a 2.0 or 2.5... replace the timing belt and all of the pullies as well as the tensioner (spring-loaded on the 2.0L and hydraulic piston on the 2.5L).

It should be changed every 60,000 miles on all years 1988-94 with a timing belt. It is not an interference engine.
Check the timing on the Corsica for jumped timing. Most likely the engine is firing at the wrong time causing it not to start.

Your 94 S-10 doesn't have a timing belt.
All MX-6 fuel pumps are located in the fuel tank. They are only accessible fromthe top of the tank. You need to disconnect everything and lower the fuel tank. Hope this Helps, '94 MX-6 LS Owner
