Hon, everyone is scared when they have a problem and have to go to the doctor, but sitting around and worrying about it just makes things worse. It may be nothing at all. Young women from the time they start their periods to the age of 16 will often miss months of their periods. Some adult women will miss a period off and on.Women from the age of 38 on can go through peri menopauseandmiss many periods until menopause sets in and their periods stop altogether.You could have an infection of some sort and it's highly doubtful it's cancer and simply something your doctor can diagnose and give you medications for it. Fasting too often, weird diets, Bulimia, Anorexia will all cause the ceasing of periods. Get a trusted girlfriend to go with you for moral support. Get to your doctor, and don't be afraid.
