Could be a few things such as, e-brake cables stuck or frozen, wheel cylinders stuck or frozen or leaking, brake shoe hold down hardware broken or missing, brake shoes cracked, leaky axle seals, brake shoes adjusted to tight, drums out of round or beyond wear limits.
clutch master slave cylinder just replaced mine and now it doesn't do it
there is a possibility that you have a malfunctioning master cylinder. my dodge neon ate up two sets of pads/rotors and drums before we found that the master cylinder was causing the brakes to stick.
Check around brake pedal for something rubbing. If OK, I'd look into the master cylinder.
2 reasons: 1. There is no fluid in your master cylinder due to a leaking master cylinder or slave cylinder or 2. You blew your clutch
if your talking about the transmission dipstick...there isn't one on a manual transmission vehicle...you check the clutch master cylinder, it's just like the master cylinder for the brakes, but for the clutch...if it's low you can use DOT 3 brake fluid, or hydraulic clutch fluid
Fault with clutch master cylinder.
Juste below the brake master cylinder. The Stick is black.
If you stick a magnet on the inside of the cylinder and it sticks, then it is steel and can be bored out larger. If it doesn1t stick then it is aluminum with a Nikicil plating that can't be bored larger and can only be re plated or replaced with a steel cylinder. I have been there.
Most Likely Your Front Brake Hose, Over Time The Hoses Deterate On The Inside Closing The Hose and does not Allow Brake Fluid To Return To The Master Cylinder. I just tried what you said and you were right on the money : ) Sticking on the passenger side.Saved us a lot of money as we were going to change master cylinder.Thank you very much : )
yellow handle. below the throttle near the brake master cylinder
It's right by the master cylinder on the driver's side. steve phx az.
