Did you disconnect the battery for a while?
unhook the battery for about 10 seconds...
With most vehicles...you can touch the positive and negative battery cables together (disconnect from battery first) and it will reset the vehicle faults if they are corrected. Or go to just about any car parts store and they will do it for free.
Reset a fuel gauge? There is not reset for a fuel gauge.
There is nothing to reset. After you replaced the fuel pump/sending unit assembly the gauge should have worked. Could be a faulty new sending unit on the new assembly. I had that happen with an aftermarket pump assembly. Bring it back and exchange it for another one.
how do you reset the digital miter timing belt light on Isuzu 2.8 turbo diesel
On the back side of the guage package. Remove the screw from KSW hole "A" and insert it into KSW hole "B". If the screw is already in hole"B" remove and move to hole "A". This will have to be done every 90,000 miles.
COMPUTERS GENERALLY RESET THEMSELVES WHEN YOU DICONNECT THEN RECONNECT THE BATTERY
There is no reset for the fuel gauge. The sending unit in the fuel tank has probably failed.
It is not reset, it is replaced.
The fuel cap has no effect on the fuel gauge and there is no "reset" for this. More than likely the problem is with fuel sending unit in the tank. A less likely cause is incorrect levels of additives in fuel, this can cause the gauge to flucuate erratically.
The oil gauge does not have a reset. Is malfunctioning, the sending unit has probably failed.
Timing belts are replaced, not reset.
