you have to unplug (or get them unplugged) little drain holes inside moonroof area. i used to have the same problem with mine. it would gather nice ice cold water in the winter time and wait till i backed out of my driveway. then it would unleash it's fury onto my head.
You can bleed it though if the pedal is just low. Check the master and slave cylinders for leaks too.
In your sunroof there should be 1 hole in each corner. These holes act as drains for the sunroof. Every sunroof leaks, the drains let the water drop out of the vehicle at the bottom on the underside. Your drain holes are probably just plug up, maybe with leaves or something. Grab an air compressor and a hose and just blow the blockage out.
A common problem with the 2000 Toyota Camry is sunroof drain clogs and leaks. These can be repaired through the dealership.
does the rear sunroof glass have drain holes
I plan to caulk mine shut. THe repair estimate was $9k.
I you happen to have a sunroof--check the two drain plugs which you can access when the sunroof is open. thry may be clogged. there are plastic tubes that run downward, which a wire can be inserted into to clean them out. hope this helps out.
you can try putting silicon where it leaks i did this to my Truck with a sunroof i put silicon on the top but the con about this that i cant open the sunroof
check to make sure it is the sunroof for one, 2nd after your sure, replace the rubber seal, 40 bucks i think, the rubber gets old and the window wont set down onto it properly anymore, also if you have gallon of water in the back seat but roof isn't wet, its not the sunroof, its the front window leaking down the frame rails then into the back seat, my sunroof leaks barely, but made me think the gallons in back seat was it, it was not the source of the heavy leaks, anyhow, hope it helps ya...
Most comon cause is a vacuum leak but an idle surge could be caused by a number of issues. Check your tps and map sensors. Check for leaks around the throttle body. An easy but not always accurate way to check for leaks is to spray throttle body cleaner in short bursts on the area of a suspected leak. Any changes in idle should indicate a vacuum leak.
check for vacuum leaks, broken hoses and hisses.
No, only use the correct fluid as recommended by Honda and nothing else.
I am currently trying to diagnose a similar problem on a 2001 LX470 with a sunroof. I believe that the leak may be entering from one of the roof rack mounts. Check that.
