Listen for breathing sounds coming out of the mouth and nose. Look for other body movements down the long axis of the body. Note skin color as well for an additional indicator. Look, listen and feel are the key points.

Alway follow your ABCs! First check the airway; make sure that the airway is open and free of any obstructions. Tilt the head back (only if you don't suspect any spinal injury) with the head-tilt-chin lift and listen for any sounds (snoring, gurgling). Next check the breathing. Note the rate (how many times per minute) and the rhythm (does the patient breathe in and out normally). Notice if the chest is rising and falling with each breath. Check for circulation; find a pulse point and check to see if there is one. In this case the patient is unresponsive so check the carotid (neck) pulse. Assess for rate, rhythm and strength. The pulse should be nice and even and not too fast or slow. Next, do a head-to-toe examination of the patient for any injuries.

If unresponsive, tip the head and check for signs of life (breathing & movement). Look, Listen & Feel for breathing & movement for 10 seconds. If no signs of life then give 2 breaths & go directly to CPR, 30 Compressions : 2 Breaths.

August burns reds slow songs?

August Burns Red is a metalcore band so they don't really have any "slow" songs, but their new album Rescure and Restore has a couple songs with clean vocals. I also like the song "Redemption" from the album Messengers. It has powerful lyrics and mostly clean vocals.

Why is Wales on Prince William's uniform?

As is the case with the US Army, there are various territorial units ,. perhaps moreso in the Royal Forces. Certain regiments are identified with the Scots- the Black Watch, for example. It is a matter of military protocol he evidentally belongs to a unit stationed in Wales. Wales, a province, is surely part of the United Kngdom- hence the Prince of Wales as the heir-apparent ( Prince Charles Windsor, to get family-minded). So, Prince William is probably assigned to a unit in Wales. He"s an RAF officer, so the air base may be on Welsh soil. Wales is a country that forms part of the United Kingdom along with the countries of England, Scotland and the province of Northern Ireland. Prince William is a serving officer with the Royal Air Force and his brother Prince Harry is a serving officer in the British Army. It is not normal for members of the British Royal family to use a surname so both Prince William and Prince Harry have name badges sewn on their uniforms and have adopted the surname "Wales". Prince William is currently serving in a Search & Rescure Unit in RAF Valley in Angleey in Wales. This is just a conincidence and has nothing to do with the name badge.

What are the four rules when rescuing someone that is drowning?

Are you referring to Reach, Throw, Row and Go? In order, try and rescue a distrssed swimmer by: # Reaching to them from safety (e.g. the deck of the pool) and pulling them up. This approach keeps the rescuer out of the water, allows them more options (go for help, lift the victim out of the water, commence rescure breathing with victim in water, etc.), and is considered the optimal solution, if you can fit it to the situation. Note that reaching can be done with hands, legs, rescue hooks, etc. # Throw a flotation device or retrieval line to the victim. This has most of the good elements of the Reach option, as well as working at a greater distance. On the negative side, the victim must be conscious and conherent to make this work. # Row. The rescuer enters the water, but on a "vehicle". This can be a boat, skiff, dory, etc. but it also can be a Doyle type rescue board or flotation device that also has hydrodynamic properties. The up side is you can quickly reach an unconscious victim, and you have the flotation to help bring them back in. Ther downside is that the rescuer is comitted, and has reduced their options considerably. For instance, once you're in the water with the victim, phoning for help gets to be a lot more problematical. Also, the ersucer is committed to the one rescuse site so, if another victim goes emergent, chance of rescuing that second victim is considerably reduced. # GO. This means enter the water without a vessel. In GO rescues, you'll still need flotation, and performing any sort of in-water rescue without flotation needs to be carefully considered, with an eye to aborting the rescue until flotation can be found or another means presents. GO puts the rescuer in the water with the victim, hopefully in close proximity, which in turn opens up a lot of rescue options (resuscitation, various tows, the ability to closely monitor the victim for changes in condition, etc.). It also fully commits the rescuer to this one course of action. And it places the rescuer in water with what can sometimes be a badluy frightened and therefore dangerous victim. Of the 4, GO rescues generally have the highest incidence of rescuer injury and mortality, and the worst odds on success.

What do you do with a injured baby owl?

Call your local fish and game or wildlife service. They have all the equipment to take care of it. Above all, don't keep it. There are laws in place that could get you in a lot of trouble for keeping a wild animal.

How do you change the cabin air filter on a 2004 Pontiac grand prix?

The cabin air filter is located directly underneath the cowling at the base of the windshield on the passenger side of the car. To access the cabin air filter, you will need to remove the cowling. First, open and lift the hood. Second, locate two plastic pins securing the plastic cowling at the base of the front windshield, on the passenger side. One is located under the wiper blade, near its base. Use a small screwdriver or similar tool to carefully lift/pop up two plastic pins securing the cowling, taking care not to damage the plastic pins. (You want to lift the pins, and not the anchors that look like washers beneath the heads of the pins. Carefully pull the plastic pins and their plastic anchors (once you pull the pin up, you can safely remove the anchor). Take caution not to damage the pins and anchors as you will need them to rescure the cowling when you are finished replacing the cabin air filter. Before you remove the cowling, carefully pull back the rubber gasket and windshield washer fluid tubing at the base of the cowling. You can now safely remove the cowling, and you will see the cabin air filter below. Remove the old cabin air filter and replace it with a new filter. Reverse this process to reinstall the cowling, gasket, and pins once you have replaced the filter. The replacement filter for the 2001 Grand Prix GT is a FRAM #CF8392A even though the OEM did not exist for this particular year. It also fits Buick Allure., Century, Lacrosse, Regal, Chev Impala, Monte Carlo, Oldsmobile Intrigue.
