remove bottom radiator hose to drain system.
flush system a few time before adding antifreeze.
I just ran into this problem. The petcock is plastic and has a metal pin protruding thru the side. This pin rides in a "track" and locks the petcock into place when you put it back in. I broke the pin removing the petcock and had to remove the radiator to repair it. You may be able to do this with the radiator in place. See if you can feel the track and if you replace the pin, you will feel it lock into place when you reinstall the petcock. The pin can only protrude on one side of the petcock so that the petcock will seat correctly. Good luck.
Remove the lower radiator hose.
usually the drain plug is located on the right side of the radiator it could be on the side or under the radiator if you still dont find one you can remove one of the water hose but that wont drain as much as the drain plug also known as cockpit
on the motor side of your radiator there should be a drain plug on either the bottom left or right, probably wont be able to see it but just feel around it isn't difficult to find, just unscrew that and make sure you have a decent size bucket handy
Have patience, this takes a couple of hours. Remove battery, battery tray, cooling fans (2 small bolts on back of radiator at top for each fan; electrical connectors are at the bottom). Pay attention which fan is where as the right one is larger and wont fit on the left side). Drain radiator. Remove clamps from radiator hoses and disconnect hoses. Remove radiator hold downs from front crossmember. disconnect evaporator from radiator. Remove radiator from vehicle. Installation is reverse of disassembly. Make sure petcock is closed, add coolant and check for leaks. Should take approximately 4 to 4.5 quarts of coolant. Heater core does not empty when draining cooling system. Test drive vehicle and verify no leaks.
Drain the fluid into a rubber tub -or whatever.take all hoses off and push them away from radiator. if i remember correctly there are six screws on top under the plastic cover of the radiator. there are 4 on each side two on the bottom ..10 mm this is very easy and wont take long .
i would drain the radiator and put fresh antifreeze in it
Yes, it can be removed but then the Ba wont get in the body because the heart is necessary in the mummification.
