it may be 180 degrees out try turning it 180 try resetting your timing it may be too far out to allow it to start
Possible bad crank sensor on the distributor, possible bad oil pressure swith.
The 92 model did not have a crank sensor on it. Sounds like it won't start. I would check the ignition module that is bolted to the Distributor plate underneith the distributor cap. That can cause a no spark and no fuel.
did you replaced the rotor / it is a damper on the crank shaft for vibration
Is it a brand new distributor ? If not then replace the module and pick-up coil in the distributor that you have.
Check your timing, if it goes out of time a small margin it won't start properly or not at all.
Have you replaced the distributor cap? I have a 94 Maxima that would not start due to a cracked distributor cap. (Check for sparks under the hood when it's dark.)
whats it not doing?? no crank no start or crank no start? thats where you need to start ----cranks good..good spark..good fuel pressure..new battery ..new coil I REPLACED THE COIL, PICK UP, IGNITION MODCULE, NEW PLUGS. WIRES , CAP AND ROTOR. CRANK TRIGERAND FUEL PUMP AND PCM
I need to know why do i need to crank my chevy truck to start ?
A 2003 Chevy Suburban will crank but not start if it has no spark or fuel. Checking for a clogged fuel filter or fouled spark plugs can help to resolve the problem.
I once replaced the distributor and worked to clean the battery posts and all sorts of stuff before finally realizing it was a blown ignition fuse. Van would turn over but not start. replaced the 35 cent fuse and I was on my way..
Sounds like it is in need of a good tune-up including spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor.
That could be a thousand different problems; please be more specific. Does it crank, and if it does, does the crank sound weak?
