Having a boyfriend shouldn't be top on your priorities list. If it is, you might want to change that. When boys find out that you are absolutely desperate, they will use you, not in search of the relationship. Bring this down on your priorty list and things will fall into place. The good guys want girls who are more well rounded and actually have lives, not obsessing over them.

I would say that (even though I don't have a boyfriend) they probably think that the guys he hangs out with would laugh at him. I'm not saying anthing about you, it's just that guys are self-conscious and probably would laugh if 'one of the guys' had a girlfriend.
