Stop drinking soda, eating crappy food. Eat smaller meals every few hours and watch your portions and eat as healthy as you can afford.
GET ACTIVE! Best method to lose weight is eating right and exercise. Run for 30-45 minutes (or walk to start) a few times a week first thing in the morning before you eat. This way you burn fat, not whatever food you had all day.. and work up to every day. Add weights in later when you lose the weight and want to tone up, if that's what you want to do that is.
Remember @ 3000 calories = 1lb of fat and you want to plan to lose 1-3 lbs per week, that's the safest amount.
Also the first 20-25lbs will be easier then the last 5 lbs, that's just how it is.
good luck!
