This question hinges upon whether you have dual citizenship or not.

When you became an Australian citizen, did you keep your Canadian citizenship? If you did not, then you are not entitled to a Canadian passport, you are now considered a foreign national. This answer raises more questions - how do you "lose" Canadian citizenship? If you were born there, you will always legally be a Canadian. A passport has little to do with citizenship in this regard. I was told if I were to go and live there for 1 year, then I would be eligible to hold a Canadian passport again - probably something to do with taxes more than an allegiance to one country or another.

Can a Canadian citizen enter Canada with Malaysian passport and a Canadian citizenship card?

You have the right to enter Canada if you are a Canadian citizen. The passport should prove your identification, and the citizenship card should prove your citizenship - my guess is a strong yes.

Your husband and you are American citizens your son was born in Australia in 1979 Does he have dual citizenship?

America does not recognize dual citizenship; you'll need to decide if you want your baby to be an American citizen or an Aussie. Listen, if you need to talk to someone about this I know some friends in the same boat. Post a message here and I'll try and help, ok?

I came to usa with a Canadian citizenship card and am i able to go back to Canada with just the citizenship?

By land or sea, the Citizenship card will be fine. By air, you will need a valid passport, but if you hold dual citizenship (one of which is Canadian), you can use the other country's passport to fly BUT you will need to present your Canadian citizenship card at the check-in counter AND at Canadian immigration to demonstrate you don't need a Canadian visa for entry. Do you need a passport for a daytrip to Vancouver?

U.S. citizens do not require a passport to enter into Canada from the U.S. They do, however, require proof of citizenship. Acceptable forms of identification for proving citizenship are: passport, birth certificate, certificate of citizenship or naturalization, and Indian Status cards, accompanied by photo ID.

Can you obtain a passport from a city which is not your native?

Passports aren't issued by cities, they are issued by countries. In order to have a passport, you need to be a citizen of the country you are applying to. So if you are a British citizen, you get a UK passport, if you are a Canadian citizen, you get a Canadian passport. It doesn't matter where you were born, it's what country you are a citizen. If you don't have citizenship then you cannot have a passport. Ex: A Canadian citizen, who is NOT an American citizen cannot have a US passport.
