could be the ignition switch just went through that crap with a 92 ram
I had this problem with my 1990 century. Turns out ther silenoid on my starter was bad, I replaced it and it worked fine. Also when its dark outside pop the hood and have a buddy look for any spark at all when you try and start it. If you see one you may have a wet or lose wire, Dist. cap, or spark plug I had this problem with my 1990 century. Turns out ther silenoid on my starter was bad, I replaced it and it worked fine. get a new coil. a coil on an engine is designed to take a little power and make it into BIG power. also check wires and connections going to coil. your problem sounds like the coil though. good going in, nothing coming out. there's your problem.
crank sensor
it can be the rotor or the distributor cap and it could also be a bad electrical conection.(your "feed" wire).
30000 mile intervals. also replacement of the fuel filter is recommended at the same time. every 2 spark plug replacements the wires should also be replaced
the wire is bad and you should be experiencing performance or engine missing or shaking the wire could also be installed wrong
did you replaced spark plug also distributor cap and rotor???
You distributor cap and rotor should also be replaced. If still no spark. check the compression on the low cylinders to see if you have good compression.
A car could sputter in the rain if the car needs new seals. There could also be a spark plug or wire that needs to be replaced.
Keep the spark plug hooked up to the car but don't plug it into the engine chamber. Have a friend start the car and see if the plug sparks at the end. Also, if your engine misfires a lot than you most likely have a bad spark plug.
I have a 1993 Jeep GC Larado also. Recently I didn't have spark either. I replaced my coil: didn't fix the problem. Then I started to think that it might be as simple as a fuse. There is a fuse panel under the hood where all the ABS controls are, inside is a 20amp fuse that controls the ignition. Mine was blown, once I replaced it, the vehicle started perfectly.
It could be a head gasket that needs replaced or a freeze plug needs replaced depending where the leak is coming from. It could also be a radiator hose.
