If it idles ok and then dies when you try to accelerate, I'd check the fuel filter first - easiest and cheapest. If that doesn't check out, then it might be the fuel pump or the fuel regulator.
it is going through idle relearn, its perfectly normal.
the line is connected to the carburettor if you have one or to the intake manifold after the throttle valve. The purpose is to connect intake vacuum to the booster.

You simply get a new tetanus booster shot. You should get the booster every ten years. But do it immediately - not two weeks later.
they should have booster seats because you might get hurt only for 8 and down kids
I replaced the fuel pump i n my beretta and the original pump doesnt have this hose connection. The original has a brake booster looking conector between the pump and the fuel line. Your new pump should have come with the new hose and clamps.

Call your vet immediately and report it. It could be a serious reaction.
The Brakes on your truck. I am assuming this is a newer model with a Vacuum booster. Most likely what is happening is that there is either air in the lines and the booster is overcompensating, or there is a vacuum leak and the booster does not work because of that.
There is no such thing as a valve cannot increase or decrease pressure IT can throttle volume or stop the flow.=One would need a pressure booster pump to increase pressure=
