The one that is along the fuel line is normal one to change. Usually there is one or the other. Are you sure the fpump is working? It can still come on, but fail to pressurize. Disconnect the line before it the filter and see if fuel is coming out. If not then the pump is messed up. Hope this helps.

Change fuel filter add a bottle of gas and injector treatments will
drop the transmission pan and change the fluid and trans filter
Clogged fuel filter, defective fuel pump are 2 possibilities.

there is no cabin filter in that vehicle
6 qts with filter change so says 1969 shop manual. I would go with 5 qts at first and adjust as needed.

Many of todays vehicles do not have drain plugs. You have to remove the pan to change the filter and fluid.
I am having problems getting the back clip to come loose. I have the correct tool to change the filter. Help????
