The Mazda Miata air conditioning drain to can be found on the bottom of the air conditioner compressor. The drain to runs to the bottom of the oil pan.
In a gear driven compressor which is integral to the engine (as is the case with heavy duty trucks), you don't - the motor oil flows through the compressor, lubricating it. That's why it's also a telltale sign that the compressor is bad if you bleed the air tanks and have oil coming out.
The seal is shot, time to replace the compressor.
Air tool Oil
What kind of air compressor is it? And if it is oil lubricated no!
Yes you can actually and it's much cheaper than using compressor oil that is non detergents. The nice thing about air tool oil is you can use it for up to 7000 hours on the air compressor before needing to chang it.
The main difference between an oil free compressor and an oil flooded compressor is the method of injection to compress the air for mechanical equipment, most common being construction equipment. In the oil free compressor, air is injected with screws while an oil flooded compressor uses oil injected into the holes to create a seal.
There is no drain plug for air conditioning. All is done through the service ports with a recovery / charging station machine. Some gm compressors have a crank case plug, but that is not a drain plug; it is to add oil when servicing the compressor.

To drain the compressor you have to remove the compressor from where it is mounted and physically drain the oil from it. From the lines, condenser and evaporator you have to isolate each item and use a flush kit available at your local auto parts store. It is nearly impossible to completely remove all the oil and trash from the evaporator and the condenser.
Compressor oil ! ( light clear mineral oil)
if your uing air tools on the compressor then you will put one or two drops directly into the inlet where you connect the compressor hose
