It's tough to give advice when everything is so out of context, but no matter what the circumstances, letting her know that you're there for her and care about her is majorly important. You could always go over what a backstabbing prick he is, make him the scapegoat so that she feels better (it sounds like he totally deserves it). But mostly, just make sure she knows that one guy isn't the end of the world. She has much better things to look forward to in the future. :)
