The biggest problem is in believing the promises of the auto manufacturer.
They probably got that mileage once, under ideal circumstances and feel that they can reproduce the condition if they get called into court.
BTW, I get 31 with my Saturn. Meaning that I actually GET that mileage on a trip... it's not something that someone promised.
