...and this is a problem because...? You must mean that your cat plays through the night and disturbs your sleep; I can't think what else may trouble you about a playful cat. Maybe it is very young and has not yet settled into her/his true Imperial Status yet. It will come with age. Maybe there is a little too much catnip around?

Cats stop playing with toys when they get bored or uninterested in the toy or even when they find something they'd rather play with. Besides that My cat played with toys well into his old age.

simple you either keep your cat inside with you or feed it enough so its not hungry and keep it destracted by playing with catnip and toys
Break their CD. Or you can always get them grounded. For a long time, at that. But you can never get them to stop playing it. Interest them in something different. Go out somewhere. If you want them to permanently stop, then I doubt there is a real answer for that.
You can always talk to your vet, or your cat can live outside.

If your cat is hissing at strangers you can't stop your cat from hissing at them. The only thing I can think of that would stop a cat from hissing at someone is letting a cat get to know a person long enough that the cat isn't afraid of the person, and will therefore get along with him/her.
