I would give it as much water as possible and give it just some cat food. Always watch out for your cat when they use the bathroom outside. They should be very careful making the brown mush come out of their rear because they just had surgery.

∙ 13y agoHer belly is going to be pretty sensitive for the next week or so. Don't try to pick her up, or touch her underside. Let her sleep, give her treats, pet her, and try not to be rough. My cats have all recovered pretty quick, so it can't be that invasive or traumatic. She will probably lick the sutures, which is fine, as long as she doesn't try to bite them out.
