What did her doctor recommend? In general, with a minor procedure and a small number of sutures (stitches), the area can be exposed to water within 8-10 days. If the stitches are out and there are no open areas, it is probably safe, but please follow your doctor's advice; he or she knows your child and is looking out for her best interest.
