I'm 23. I had my tubes tied 2 years ago after pregnancy complications with my 4th pregnancy. I was in my 2nd trimester and I had a heart problem that was getting worse as my pregnancy progressed. My doctor recommended getting my tubes tied because Birth Control pills nor the patch had worked. So my doctor performed the abortion and tubal ligation. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are 100% sure or a doctor advises you to do so. Even though my health was an issue, I regret it. Maybe I should have gotten a 2nd opinion.
