Bring lock cylinder and key to locksmith for re-keying
Only high beams work on my 93 Nissan maxima. Had new headlight put in but still doesn't work. What may this be? Thanks you so much
Not from the factory , just the one key works for the door and ignition
Under the hood on the drivers side there is another fuse panel
take it to the Nissan dealer like I did with my 93 altima with heads up display. The first mechanic that tried, suggested this, and it works fine now.
it is only the drivers side wiper that is having the problem it works randomly but does not go all the way across the windshiled when it does work. The passenger side windshield wiper works fine.
For Omegas, put the key in the ignition and press one of the buttons within 30 seconds- the doors will lock and unlock. For Omegas, put the key in the ignition and press one of the buttons within 30 seconds- the doors will lock and unlock. This also works for older Vectra models
replace the BLOWER MOTOR RESISTER....YOU CAN FIND IT INSIDE THE CAR UNDER THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT DASHBOARD.
The earliest a Nissan had an electronic key was 1999. Pull the passenger side door lock and give to locksmith. They will cut you a key that works the door and ignition.
Replace the motor. Not and easy job. Get a manual on your car to do the job right. If the window motor still works then you might have to replace the window regulator. That is a common problem in the 3rd generation maxima (89-94). Hopefully this was able to help you.
Disconnected linkages, probably from trying to unlock with a slimjim
you might try switching the key pads from the right side to the left side
Nissan used to be Datsun. Nissan was originally the Kwaishinsha Motor Car Works which was founded in 1911.
