The kitten probably caught the fleas from it's mother, or contact with someone or something that had the fleas on it.
Talk to your vet about the best way to treat them.
Vinegar will not kill fleas on any animal. Bathing is the best option. The safest flea product on the market for kittens is Revolution which you can use in kittens as young as 4 weeks. However, you can use Advantage on a nursing mother which will protect the kittens as well. The best thing i have found for killing fleas on a kitten is dawn dishdetergent. wet the kitten cover it in dawn scrub it good and leave the dawn on for 10 min. I know the cat will not be happy but it will kill the fleas and wont harm the kitten like some chemical ones can
Yes, I got a kitten a year ago, and the poor thing was infested with fleas! The kitten was too young for flea shampoo, so we decided to try dawn dishwashing liquid and it worked. If you do research on fleas, you'll find that if you put a candle in a bowl with dish wash water on the floor at night, fleas will go to it and drown in the water. This is because it cuts the tension in water and they will drown. Same principal applies to putting it on your cat, it will kill them. I washed my kitten in water with dawn dish washing liquid and then comb the fur with a comb.....regular one from the dollar general store made for humans :) and they would fall right out, all dead! My kitten had no skin reaction. We did have to take him to get dewormed. When cats have lots of fleas they may accidently ingest some when cleaning their fur. This causes cats to get worms.
Yes
Fleas on Rats which then got on to a boat and traveled to London got into cloths whick when to peoples homes and got on everyones animals which made the humans get infected by the fleas
The pronoun that takes the place of the singular noun 'kitten' is it.The pronoun 'it' can function as a subject or an object in a sentence. If the gender of the kitten is known, the pronouns that take the place of the noun 'kitten' are he or she as a subject, and him or her as an object in a sentence.Examples:I got a kitten for my birthday. It is six weeks old. (the pronoun 'it' is the subject of the second sentence)I have a new kitten. My mother got it for me. There is not much you can do, just resume normal routine, and it is rare it will happen again.
