Your temp gauge doesn't work how do you tell when your engine is running hot before the car stalls out and the coolant blows everywhere?

Nobody could answer that question without looking at your car. One of the possibilities is that your car is overheating. Check the coolant. By the way, if this is the case, and you are driving your car without coolant, stop driving right now because your car is in danger of being irreversabely ruined forever.

Untill you find the problem *check* your coolant--running an engine hot can be VERY expensive! Also, check the coolant ****ONLY*** when the engine is COLD [like it hasn't been driven all night]. NEVER check coolant when the engine is hot! Good luck with it and be carefull. Remember, better SAFE than sorry...
