'add to Tomtom button' is no longer supported by Tomtom apparently. I've been moaning about this for months. Part of their withdrawing support for third party POIs.

When i fully charge your tomtom gps and turn it off later that night its half flat WHY?
I have learned that when we charge a TOMTOM GPS, once it is fully charged, it will switch to battery power. If left on, the battery will gradually discharge because it continues to run on battery power, even though you have it plugged in. If you are unfortunate enough to leave it on and plugged in long enough, it will fully discharge and you will then end up with a product that will no longer ever charge and you will be sending it back to repair. To avoid, this full discharge and inability to recharge, you must unplug it, turn it off. Then when you plug it back in and turn it back on, it will fully charge again. I believe that it is this built in feature to protect from over charging a battery that is leading to so many people reporting batteries that are fully discharged and will not recharge.

Why is TOMTOM Navigator 5 gps superior to other TOMTOM Navigators? Adding gps to a pda which already has tons of features makes it superior. And the battery stays charged for five hours, a long time considering its a very small unit. You can compare TOMTOM features at www.cnet.com.
