Your pool pump needs to be pushing the water through your solar system
Run the filter when adding any chemical to the pool. It needs to circulate to do its job.
You need to circulate the pool water in freezing conditions to prevent the pool piping, filter system, etc from freezing and being damaged. If you can bypass the solar system and are assured that ALL the panels and associated piping is drained you will be ok if not run the system, yes you will cool the pool down but will not damage the system
Need to know what horse power you are thinking of. B T W the pump is not the filter. The filter is the large tank.
Pool filters do not get cloged the pump is the problem
Yes, you could reduce the time that your filter and Polaris systems run if you started using a solar blanket to help keep dirt and debris out of the pool. The solar blanket will also warm the water at the same time thereby reducing the time your heating system is required also. However, be sure to still run the filter enough to provide at least one to two turns of the water per day to ensure proper filtering. Hope this helps ...
Yes you should run your pool at least 12 hours a day.
Heaters are usually plumbed in after the filter. The pool filter/pump is what circulates the heated water. Ans: The heater will not work or fire if the pump is not running.
Yes. The filter will pull water into the skimmer from under the cover and send it back into the pool through the return line. In fact, when using a solar cover the pool will warm slightly faster if the water is circulating (the solar cover is continuously heating all of the water rather than a just a small layer of already warm water right under the cover). Heat flows faster the greater the temperature difference. Hope this helps...
solar houses are houses that run on solar power, and that have solar panels on top of them:)
Add the aluminum sulphate to the pool. Run the filter for two hours. Wait overnight to vacuum the bottom of the pool.
Yes. Running the pool filter pump while swimming has no adverse effects to the swimmers.
