you need chicken, sauce and cheese. take pre baked chicken and put about one table spoon sauce and as much cheese as desired. take the time and temperature for the oven from the directions with the pre baked chicken. I prefer to use perdue.
I usually fry the breaded chicken (in light olive oil) before adding the cheese, then bake it only long enough to melt the cheese until it's bubbly. 20 minutes to 30 minutes. If I'm making scallopini then I don't bake the chicken at all. Over cooking pounded chicken tends to make it very tough, so it's very important to only cook it enough to cook it through and little more than that. Always check to see it's cooked through, you can get a feel for it by pushing a toothpick through it, pressing it with your finger or actually cutting it open.
If frying the chicken is not an option for you, place the breaded chicken on an oiled jellyroll pan and cover with an oiled sheet of foil, and bake at 350F long enough to cook it through, about 30 to 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake another 10 - 15 minutes before adding the cheese and/or sauce.*
*If you do like I do, you place the chicken onto the pasta in a casserole, top it with cheese and then sauce, before baking the whole for 30 minutes.
