it 's possible that you have blown the rubber cups in you master cylinder! but you can try having sumone sit in the van and bleed it with the cap ! take the cap of let them push the pedal down and hold it and you put cap back and repeat this procedure several times maybe they'll start working again!
You either got the wrong master cylinder or you haven't actually bled all the air out of the system.
Bleed the master cylinder.& then rebleed the system.
get a new one then bleed your brakes A new Ford master cylinder must be bench bled before it is installed, or it will be impossible to bleed the system later.
If you didn't bench bleed the master you need to do that before you install the master.

You will have to re-bleed the air out of the system at all four wheels. Make sure the master cylinder is topped up after each bleed cycle.
Check all of the wheel cylinders for any leaks. Check all of the lines for any kinks, then check the master cylinder again for any air. Air in the system may have gotten into the master cylinder and the cylinder may need bleeding again.
Sounds as though you still have air in the cylinders at rear.
I advise you to perform a careful examination of your car's brake system.
I would suspect you have purchased a defective master cylinder, especially if it was a rebuilt unit. Also make sure you have bled the system properly & completely to remove all air. Bleed in this order. RR-LR-RF-LF The master cylinder must be bench bled prior to installing ; I suspect you have air in the system if you did not bench bleed the master cylinder prior to installing it on your vehicle.Try this: obtain a quart of brake fluid and rebleed the system; you want it to be this problem vs removing parts and starting over.
