i have a 1970 Dodge Dart with a slant 6, 225 and need to know if a 318 out of 1970 Dodge dart will mount up with the motor mounts and tranny.
either change the k-frame or use motor plates to mount the engine.
yes but you will have to use motor plates to install it in place of motor mounts.
You either have to change the K-frame or use motor plates to install it.
either a v8 K-frame from a dart or you can use motor plates to bolt the engine in.
you would have to change the K-frame or use motor plates to install the engine.
yes but it may take a few mods. steering may be an issue
sure there is plenty of room for it but you will have to weld in new motor mounts or use engine plates to mount it.
I don't think so, I think the K-frame has to be changed to go to a V8, you could always use motor plates to install it.
a 440 engine will fit but you have to use motor plates to secure it into the body and any 4 speed from a 383 or 440 will work.
either change the K-frame or use engine plates to bolt the engine in.
Use a jack with a board on top to support the engine. Loosen the bolts for the motor mount. Raise the engine slightly then take the bolts out and remove the motor mount. Install the new mount, tighten the bolts, then remove the jack.
sure, you can use motor plates to hold it in.
