is there a diagram or a picture of the distributor cap and rottor in a 95 Ford Probe gt 2.5lt
What is your question?
Built into the distributor.
there is no such thing as a 1998 Ford Probe. If there was, it would probably still be located next to the stock airbox. follow the spark plug wires.
There is a small ignition module (relay) that is built into the distributor that is notorious for burning up.....
Ford Probe's are known for water getting in the distributor cap. If it happens on a day that when its wet outside check your distributor cap to see if theres any water in it.
distributor is likely bad
follow the coolant hose that goes under the distributor.
To set the ignition timing on a Ford Probe GT 95 with an MX engine, remove the two 12 mm head bolts holding the distributor in place. Then rotate the distributor to set the ignition timing.
On the '93-'97 GT's the ignition coil is part of the distributor. If your coil goes bad you need to change the distributor.
1-3-4-2 Distributor rotation:Clockwise
NO SPARK TO DISTRIBUTOR CAR WILL TURN OVER BUT WONT START 95 FORD PROBE
On a 1994 Ford Probe, the distributor adjustment is typically located on the distributor itself. To adjust the timing, you would need to loosen the hold-down bolt on the distributor, which allows for rotation. After achieving the desired timing adjustment, retighten the bolt to secure the distributor in place. Always use a timing light for precise adjustments.
