To fix the shaking front end on a 2007 Cobalt, start by inspecting the tires for uneven wear and proper inflation, as these can cause vibrations. Check the wheel alignment and balance, and ensure the lug nuts are properly torqued. Additionally, inspect the suspension components, including tie rods and ball joints, for wear or damage, and replace any faulty parts. If the problem persists, it may be wise to have a professional mechanic conduct a thorough diagnosis.
warped rotors
Have you had a front-end alignment? When you remove parts from the front end, you need to have this done.
Mine had a warped rotor and i had it replaced and it helped
Yes
you need a front end alignment
realignment, 60 to 80 bucks
That is typically a wheel balance problem.
It is scared of something, is there an Escalade around? Seriously, shaking while driving could be wheel balancing or front end alignment. Shaking while at idle or what seems to be coming from the engine might be a motor mount.
Check the balance on your tires as well as the lug nuts. You'd be suprised.
You need a front-end alignment. Most garages charge $50-$75.
My voyager started wobbling/shaking when accelerating at around 35 - 45 mph. It was the cv joints. It only does it under acceleration. It was a wobble from side to side.
