on valve cover just remove wires
Open the cover and locate the screws on each side of the console. Remove them with a Phillips screwdriver. The console will get a little loose. Do not pry it now or intend to remove it by pulling the loose end. Get the part of the console that is close to the windshield and try to get your fingers in between the ceiling and the base of the console. Pull the console down once you are able to grab the cover. Remove the connector. Installation is the opposite.

remove the front console cover by pulling on it backwards. This is held by clips and the electronic connector at the back central portion. Be careful not to break the console cover Disconnect the wires that is connected to this console to remove it entirely. Remove the metal screws that holds the stereo pull it out and disconnect all the harnesses behind it.
If you're talking about the tap console (my model is a Everhard Glo Tub Console) this is how to remove one: 1) Turn off water to console (both hot and cold). 2) Turn on the hot and cold taps and let them drain. 3) Look for two cover plates on the console. 4) Lift the cover plates off with a screwdriver. 5) Underneath the cover plates you should see a large screw head. 6) Remove the screws and the console should come off.
Need to replace console door/cover and can't figure out how to do this without removing the entire console. Is there another way?
