The Allen head is NOT a bolt. Go to an Auto parts store and get a Power Steering Pulley Remover tool. The pulley is pressed on, there will be instructions with the tool or ask the counter person.
It requires a special puller to remove the pulley. There is NO bolt are Allen head that has to be removed. The pulley is pressed on. You will also have to get a special tool to put the pulley back on too.
That is not a Allen screw in there. That is part of the pump shaft. If you are looking to remove the pump pulley you will need a power steering pulley puller. This tool will help you remove it and replace it, without the puller you will damage the pulley or the pump or both.
All you need is a 10mm allen socket with a 6" extension. remove that bolt and the steering wheel pops off. Yo uonly needed to remove the Mercedes logo in center of horn to access that bolt.
American cars never used Bristol keys. The Suburban most likely uses a 3/8 Allen key on calipers.
To remove the steering wheel on a 1984 Mercedes 300 you first need to remove the Mercedes logo in the center of the wheel to access the bolt holding the wheel in place. A 10mm allen socket with a 6-inch extension is needed to remove the bolt.

To tighten a stripped Allen wrench bolt, you will need a helicoil or a thread repair kit.
There are two small access holes on the backside of the steering wheel. They are a torx head, remove these screws (screws will stay inside of steering wheel, but must be loosened all the way) then pop the airbag off. You then will have a big Allen head nut holding the steering wheel on the steering shaft. Remove the nut and the steering wheel comes off.AnswerAnd if you actually did mean -move wheel- rather than -remove wheel - not all the cars have a moveable steering wheel. As I recall, it was an option to have one that fully tilted and some packages only came with a height adjustable one. In both cases there is a lever near or along the steering column that allows the adjustment.
