I don't know if it is the same, but the lights were out in my 97 Chevy truck radio, so I took the radio apart (not a easy feat) and all the seaperate lights for the buttons are soldiered to the circuit board so I am assumeing they are not replaceable, unless I can find a radio store that can put new ones in.

Most steering wheel buttons bulbs are not serviceable, you must replace the button(switch) or the shole horn pad, most dash and switch bulbs are not serviceable
You have to remove the instrument cluster to service the light bulbs.
Remove the screws that hold the covers in place. Replace bulbs!
http://www.corvetteradios.com/ sells the bulbs for the GM k1500 radios. They have a diagram showing how to solder them to the circuit board on their site.
The bulbs unscrew from the back of the light assy. sometimes you have to remove it to get to the back.
no
Open the rear hatch and you will see the retaining screws inside the door frame. You can then drop the light out to get access to the bulbs. If no bulbs are bad then you may have a bad circuit board.
If the turn signal bulbs light but will not flash, the flasher relay is defective, replace it.
The # is 1157 bulbs.
Yes, you can replace ordinary light bulbs with an LED.
For lights behind the speedometer/tach warning light area, you have to take the screws out of the panel and then guide it out enough that you can twist it sideways and pull out the burned out bulbs. Replace with bulbs #194 and I would use the Long Life version of the bulbs.
