you have to get another car and some jumpercables you hook the jumpercables on the batterys while the 2nd car is still running let it charge for about 1 min. then try to start the deville
Actually, 2000 and newer Cadillac devilles are not that simple. The battery is located under the rear passenger bench seat. You can do it that way but it is more time consuming, there is a simpler way. Under the hood on the left side of the engine, located where the fuse panel is (towards the front of the engine compartment) you will see a little red cap. You can lift it up easily, and under that cap you will see a red wire attached to a bolt. The bolt sticks up maybe and inch? and you can attach red jumper to it. The negative can be a little to find. It is shaped like a tab, usually black and is attached to the engine directly. It is located on top of engine and approx. 6 inches behind Power Steering pump. Of course, you can just attach neg jumper to the power steering line right on top of the engine, as it is metal and will accomplish same thing. This sounds tough but its relatively easy once you find those two places to hook it on to.
Yes.
It would depend on the condition of the battery and if the battery charger has a jump start mode.
dirt in the speed snsor bad speedo head in the dash
Jump the starter solenoid Take jumper wire from Battery + to trigger wire to starter (mounted on top of starter)
did you do a car to car jump or a portable jumper box? on cadillacs you shouldn't do car to car jumps do to there's a chance it'll mess up you computer system. vonshay_m2002@yahoo.com
Any good ground on the engine will do. Look for an unpainted surface or a bolt. transman Battery is under the rear seat try that area
Yes
the battery is under the back seat, you can jump it direct, or you can jump in underhood on passenger side of the motor there is a red cap for positive and then any good engine ground
Illustrate how to jump start a 2004 buick lesabre
If done properly, yes
How to "Jump start" a 2003 Cadillac DeVille; 1) Start with the ignition off, key out on the dead car. 2)Under the hood, on the passenger side, there is a red plastic cover with a + symbol on it. open this cover and attach the Positive (Red) cable to the copper bolt. 3) On the engine (passenger side engine top) there is a silver tab marked "NEG" attach the Negative (Black) cable here. 4)Attach the other end of the jumper cables to the other car (engine off). 5) Start the dead car and remove the cables from both cars, close the hood(s) and you are done!
