this is a 1998 Chevy Blazer 4 by 4. recently as in yesterday my Transmission Fluid was drained and had new put in. it feels like its slipping now and won't go to overdrive and a hard time with first gear to. any answers out there?? i think maybe not enough replacement fluid being that it was fine beforehand.
You put in enough to get the level to the safe zone on the dipstick.
6 or 7 qts of tranny fluid, when replacing transmission fluid
About five.

it should take about 9-10 quarts if you are completely servicing it...
if replacing fluid in converter and cooler its 14 quarts
a little over 7 quarts. I just finished doing a tranny service on one.
7.5 q for thr 4T45E tranny
I would buy at least 12 quarts, you may need more or less depends on how much the converter retains after draining. you can always return what you do not use. If you are replacing the converter and filter start with 15 quarts.
8 quarts with converter, four quarts just replacing filter
7.5 q for thr 4T45E tranny
Yes, fill the transmission fluid through the dipstick tube and it takes approx 5 & 1/2 quarts of trans fluid.
If your just going to drop the pan and change the filter and gasket 4 quarts. And use merconV only.
