To reset the Passlock system on a 2003 Chevy Impala, first, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine. Leave the key in this position for about 10 minutes until the security light turns off. Then, turn the key to the "Off" position for a few seconds and repeat the process two more times. After the third cycle, the Passlock system should reset, allowing you to start the engine.
Turn the engine two seconds then leave the key in the run position for exactly ten minutes...the anti-theft security light should go from blinking to solid at the ten minute mark. Immediatly run the engine and the Passlock is reset. Good Luck!!
