I THINK IT COMES FROM 87 CHEVY TRUCK 2500
You are probably referring to a Chevy 327 engine which was popular in the late 60's and early 70"s in both cars and trucks.
Engine block heaters were optional.
No it will not even come close to bolten up to the 96 engine. Chevy REDESIGNED the engine block and the transmissions. Nothing below late 1999 will enterchange with anything from late 1999 and up.
No it did not. It had a 350 engine in it.
does the sound come from the engine,or the radio???
Front of the engine block on left side, below the alternator. If you replace thermostat, it is easier to replace entire housing. When you purchase one it will all come as one unit.
it does not come with a block heater unless installed by a mechanic. if so, it will be in the engine block under the exhaust manifold. can see it from under the van
A faulty sensor in the engine block.
Chevy 350 bored 60 over. .... not the best way to come to a 358... The "NASCAR" way is to use a 400sbc block and a 327sbc crank. High revving and big hp up top.
The 83 Chevy C10 comes with a 305 but not a 350. The 350 is an option on the 3/4 ton but not the 1/2 ton.
If the check engine light has come on, have the codes read. That would be a good place to start.
Truck or car truck 210 hp
Look again, could it be 3970010? If so it came out of a 1969-79 car, truck or Vette
