The torque specification for the wheel hub mount bolts on a Pontiac Aztek is typically around 70 ft-lbs (95 Nm). However, it's always best to consult the specific repair manual for your vehicle or check with a professional to ensure accuracy, as specifications may vary based on the model year or specific configuration.
To replace a strut on a Pontiac Aztek, first, safely lift the vehicle and secure it on jack stands. Remove the wheel and brake components to access the strut assembly. Unbolt the strut from the knuckle and the top mount, then replace it with the new strut, ensuring all bolts are tightened to the manufacturer's specifications. Finally, reassemble the brake components, reinstall the wheel, and lower the vehicle.
That will mount fine on a 7" wheel...but and 8 would be better.
To change the windshield wiper motor on a 2003 Pontiac Aztek, first disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Remove the wiper arms by loosening the nuts at their bases and lifting them off the motor shaft. Next, access the wiper motor by removing the necessary interior panels and disconnecting the electrical connector. Finally, unbolt the motor from its mount, replace it with the new motor, and reassemble in the reverse order.
my guess is the lower motor mount
the torque mount is usually on the bottom front of the engine and it keeps the engine from shifting to much when switching gears
tire or wheel out of balance? broken mount on rear of transmission. I have seen where the threads for the bolts into the trans are ripped out.
You have to remove one bolt at bottom of front mount. Will look like a round sleeve. Easiest to get to through wheel well.
