Proper Torx bit or wrench for caliper
C-Clamp to retract piston to get it off the disc
Probably something close to a 21 millimeter
1. Remove the brake hose to caliper bolt from the brake caliper. 2. Remove the brake hose from the brake caliper. 3. Remove and discard the 2 copper brake hose gaskets. These gaskets may be stuck to the brake caliper and/or the brake hose end. 4. Cap or plug the opening in the brake caliper and the brake hose to prevent fluid loss and contamination. 5. Remove the 2 brake caliper pin bolts. Remove the park brake cable from the caliper. 6. Remove the brake caliper from the brake caliper bracket.
Remove brake caliper and caliper frame, then take out rear spindle and remove bearing from it. Refit new one opposite way.
To compress the rear brake calipers on a 2008 Taurus X, you will need a brake caliper tool or a C-clamp. First, remove the wheel and brake caliper to access the piston. Then, either use the caliper tool to rotate the piston back into the caliper housing or place the C-clamp over the caliper and gently compress the piston straight back. Ensure the brake fluid reservoir is checked to avoid overflow during this process.
To remove the rear brakes on a 2000 Ford Expedition, start by safely lifting the vehicle and removing the rear wheel. Next, locate the brake caliper, remove the caliper mounting bolts, and slide the caliper off the brake rotor. Support the caliper with a bungee cord or rope to prevent strain on the brake line, then remove the brake pads from the caliper bracket. Finally, if needed, remove the caliper bracket by unscrewing its bolts to gain access to the rotor.
T55
You need 15 and 18 mm wrench.
Remove the tire then remove the brake caliper take the pads off and replace them just like you removed them. Put the brake caliper back on you will need to bleed the brake line on the caliper add brake fluid if needed and put the tire bak on.
Remove the brake caliper, then the caliper frame mounting. ( just two bolts on the inside of knuckle) Now the rotor is free to come off.
You have to remove the entire caliper and brake rotor and punch out the old stud and press in a new one.
You will need a hex key to remove the brake caliper on an '05 Navigator. There will be two bolts that need to be taken off with the hex key.
Remove wheel, remove the bolt holding brake hose to the caliper, remove the two pins that hold the caliper to the caliper bracket using a 3/8" allen wrench, remove caliper. Inspect brake pads and brake hose for damage, replace if necessary. Install new brake caliper in reverse order. Bleed system.
