To remove the rear brakes on a 2000 Ford Expedition, start by safely lifting the vehicle and removing the rear wheel. Next, locate the brake caliper, remove the caliper mounting bolts, and slide the caliper off the brake rotor. Support the caliper with a bungee cord or rope to prevent strain on the brake line, then remove the brake pads from the caliper bracket. Finally, if needed, remove the caliper bracket by unscrewing its bolts to gain access to the rotor.
To change the brake pads on a 2005 Yukon XL, first, safely lift the vehicle and remove the wheel. Then, remove the caliper bolts and slide the caliper off the rotor, supporting it to avoid strain on the brake line. Take out the old brake pads and install the new ones, ensuring they are properly positioned. Finally, reattach the caliper, torque the bolts to the specified settings, and reinstall the wheel. Always remember to pump the brake pedal before driving to ensure proper brake function.
Remove the tire then remove the brake caliper take the pads off and replace them just like you removed them. Put the brake caliper back on you will need to bleed the brake line on the caliper add brake fluid if needed and put the tire bak on.

To remove the front brake caliper from a Ford Transit, first, ensure the vehicle is securely lifted and supported. Next, remove the wheel and locate the caliper. Unbolt the caliper by removing the caliper mounting bolts, usually found on the back of the caliper, and slide the caliper off the brake rotor. Finally, support the caliper with a bungee cord or rope to avoid stressing the brake line while you work on the brake components.
